Committed to her craft Amy ,
has spent many years honing the ability to turn a client's ideas into a tangible reality. Often the customer knows the "look and feel" that they would like, and it is Amy's absolute delight to turn this into an appropriate piece of unique work.We all have stories that we can tell about not being able to find "just the right" card, invite etc. In fact, it is increasingly difficult to find truly inspirational or unusual designs with the greetings card market becoming increasingly saturated with the same "corporate" organisations.
Amy recognises the importance of keeping in touch with the client throughout the design and production phase so that the items do not add to the worry of planning the day. Once production is complete the cards are delivered to the customer, along with a framed and hand signed presentation final pieces. This forms a unique keepsake particularly when one remembers that the majority of Amy's work is commissioned by people who intend to give it away!
The Victorians delighted in the unusual and bespoke card to give as a memento of an occasion, as a token of love, or just to have an excuse to send a card to someone. These days it is typically at significant dates that we send our cards, but they need not have any less importance just for that! Amy works hard with her customers so that regardless of the occasion the card, invite, guest book or table setting actively compliments the day rather than grudgingly acknowledging it.
Amy remains truly excited by the process of taking the ideas of a couple or individual and bringing them to life by encompassing them within her own creative talent. The items that we once considered to be disposable become mini art pieces in their own right, a trend that she is absolutely determined to maintain throughout her client relationships.
